Dr. Pabitra Pal is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly West Bengal University of Technology), West Bengal. Prior to that, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at I.I.T. Delhi, India. He joined I.I.T. Delhi as a Project Scientist in 2019. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, India. He did his post-graduation (M.Tech.) in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. Dr. Pal also completed his post-graduation (M.C.A.) in Computer Application in 2011 at Vidyasagar University, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal, India. He also obtained an M.Sc in Mathematics and M.A. in Education from Netaji Subhas Open University in 2013 and 2020, respectively. He qualified for the West Bengal State Eligibility Test (S.E.T.) in 2020 and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2013. His research interests are Watermarking, Steganography, Data hiding, Image processing, and Cryptography. He has published more than 20 papers in esteemed International Journals and Conferences. He wrote ‘CRACK JECA’ an entrance examination book for MCA Aspirants. Dr. Pal developed study materials for the M.Sc. in Computer Science course for the Distance Education wing of Vidyasagar University, West Bengal. He acted as a P.G. question setter at Raja Narendralal Khan Women’s College (autonomous) in 2021. He is a reviewer of several renowned journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, etc.
